I have been trying to get this song right for a long time and I still haven’t. This is just the best version. It was an attempt at doing Ska digitally, but it didn’t really work out. I think I just have to get actual people to perform it before I’ll ever be satisfied. You can listen to the first and second attempts here and here, respectively.

Shining Jewel Underworld
I made this about a year ago after the epic Mega Man 9 came out. All the music in that game was great, but my two favorites were Hornet Man’s theme and Jewel Man’s. The Daytime Moon
When I first started this song, I really liked it, but as I went on, I kind of hated it. Instead of just stopping and scrapping it though, I just kind of fooled around with the patterns and it ended up turning into a 5-minute repetitive song. I don’t even know what genre this would be considered. Maybe a slow techno or trance, but for now I’m just going to generalize it with electronica.
Hard to Swallow
This is actually a somewhat recent remake of a song I made in 2005, originally called “Dark Highway.” I recorded it once by setting a mic near my keyboard and playing it live. Listen to it here.

Raining Upways
This was one of the first songs I made in PXtone and although I could’ve sworn that I left this unfinished, apparently I did finish it. So this one’s almost like brand new!
Orange Horizon
This one’s made up almost entirely of piano chords, just with same bass and techno drums thrown in. I wish I had written down the notes so I could play it on a real piano or keyboard or…keytar…
Going Far Away
The majority of this song was made in FL Studio, but the main synth (my keytar playing) was recorded as a separate file and then put overtop the original. It was going to have lyrics too, which is why there are some “blank” parts, like where no synth is present. I just never ended up recording them. It was also an attempt at doing Ska, sort of, except the synth replaced what would be horns.
